The Club “Deutsch-Österreichische Gemeinschaft” was founded in 1956 and has since developed into a major ethnic Club in Sydney. An extensive entertainment and activities program is supported by a great number of subgroups.
The annual Octoberfest is a highlight in the entertainment program and is attracting many thousands of visitors to the Fairfield Showground, the venue of the festival.
The festival is held each year on the October long weekend. For information on subgroup activities please call the club on 9728 7724
