The “Club Astoria” or more defined, the “German Australian Society in Morwell” Victoria was established in 1957. The club boasts its own premises, featuring an auditorium with seating for up to 180 people.
The club is well patronised by German language teachers and students, under the LOTE
(Languages Other Than English) programme, providing an atmosphere for students to learn
about Germanic language and cultures.
The Club Astoria is frequently host to Entertainer groups from the old country.
Every Sunday from 2-6 pm is “ CLUBHOUSE CAFÉ “ check it out!
